the throne of grace

"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence,
so that we may receive mercy
and find grace to help us in our time of need."
Hebrews 4:16

The "throne of grace", a term I've read over many times without really stopping to consider. What a beautiful term! And much more than just a term; this is the reality of what we are approaching when we come to God in prayer. We are approaching the throne where GRACE is administered. What an awesome thing!
